i am in the market for one as well. i bought one from a sears and it was absolute shit. didnt work at all. from what ive gathered from asking around the siphon feed ones are not very good, you want an enclosure. i found a decent looking one for $99 bucks but its in the states like me

Im set on a pressurized one as i think they are better than suphon/gravity ones. I want it to be able to clean away rust.

Ebay pressure pot and the biggest compressor you can find. Lots of info over at the welding forum I frequent...

http://www.mig-welding.co.uk/forum/index.php look in the compressors and air tools bit.

Alternatively PM drgonzoPOW as he asked me the same question a while ago and as I recall is kitted out for blasting now.

Cheap chinese blastpot, biggest compressor you can afford, and somewhere to do it. There's loads of info on the net about making your own cabinet. I borrowed a lovely grit bin from my works car park :D
The compressor in the pic is about 18cfm if i remember and its pretty much the biggest you can use on a standard house supply. It does the job but does have to run alot to keep up with the amount of air being used. Ideally you need a 3 phase one or a big diesel jobby like they use on building sites. You'll also need a good pressure regulator and water trap to stop the media getting damp and clogging things up. If you, or anyone else needs some media i should be able to supply some cuz i got chummy with a place i found through work. Gizza shout if you need anymore help
