Hello everyone I'm from Lebanon, Recently i've got this E21 which was 320/6. Now it has a second generation M42. It drives great but soon it'll get a stiffer bilstein suspension all round. It's under severe bodywork right now, after I discovered some rust. I'll be posting the work progress soon step by step, Also I'm changing the color to MintGreen which was it's original color. Any Suggestions for the final look ar appreciated. Fingers crossed.

I started the Body work after discovering some rust in the trunk, the rear wheel wells, the floor, also under the front fender. And since the current color & paint job suck + it has a thick layer of unnecessary filler layer, and the trunk's interior was covered with digusting under coating, & silicone sealant so I decided to start with a complete job, & changing the color to mint green which used to be it's original color. Since I'm alone in this job & I'll be working in my free hours & some weekends I decided to start with the rear end first.

the rear end paint was stripped & painted with a temporary primer layer.

The Rear end's Job has been finished perfectly with the repair of the corrosion & straightning the final body lines, It's covered with the final primer layer. I'll be posting soon pics for the nightmare of the remaining rust in the front half of my lucky saved E21. LOL

In the pics below You'll see the repair of the rust under the front fenders, both floor panels, front section, & bumper mounting spots. it included the replacement of a large section of both floor panels also I broke the non-original windshield. I bought two brand new fenders, two second hand doors in great condition. A lot of work done, slow but steady progress.

I won't continue before a long time since the weather news said that there's a heavier storm on it's way And I'm working in an old garage in the nieghborhood which doesn't have any source of heat. I'll wait for sand blasting the front section till the weather warms up so I won't get more rust later  well All I can do is just wait. By the way visiting your country is on my plans Maybe we'll meet one day & your car would be finished by that time LOL.
