I gave up my 323...and bought another one..

I have officially given up my 1980 Henna red restoration project before it even really started
It is now close to 5 years since I bought it, and in that time I have had less than 100 hours of work on it... I slowly started to realize that the chance of it ever beeing finished was pretty slim (about the same as the survival-rates of ice-cubes in hell...)
So last wednesday, when the car that had been my desktop background for a couple of years, suddenly popped up on autoscout24.de - I had a quick chat with my wife - and she actually said "Is it for sale? The car you've wanted for a long time? Then just buy it - you'll regret if you don't"
A few mails back and forth; and the deal was done. The car is still in the Motherland, but it'll be up here in the middle of February I guess.
I'll make a thread in the Owners Gallery when I get it up here; but now enjoy some pics from the net
