I am sure that a similar topic has been posted recently...
Whnever I look at an E24, I "fall in love" with its interior (so this also explains my other topic asking how easy would it be to re-upholster my car's dash in leather...)
So now I would like to investigate a bit in the subject of rear seats...I think that if rear seats (with in-between armrest/bench) from an e24 would be a nice upgrade for an E21, giving it a sporty look!!
(and in general I never let 5 people in my car, so I wouldn't mind converting it into a 4 seater)
So after this introduction...:
Is this doable? Does anyone know?Has anyone done something similar?

has anyone got a pic of these rear seats in an e21 - ive scoured the internet to no avail.

Anyone know if the seats are much taller then the height of the original - when you say trimming Jason - do you mean like gettting them retrimed to match or do you mean cutting them up to fit?

Ok I've decided there is only one way to find out. picking some e24 rear seats up this weekend.

There are a few pics on here from a 4-5 years sog of this conversion, you need A to make up a couple of infill panesl and trim them, B the seats are platic buckets seats at the back and you need to hack this about to get them to fit
