Max offset - Nuts and Studs?

know its been covered but what is the maximum offset we can use ? Is 18 right or could i get away with 20?

15'' 6j's i think are what im looking at but their like 35 offset and i have 15mm spacers. Also what are the options when it comes to wheels that use lug nuts indstead of bolts. Are there conversion kits available for suce things ? Ta

Would anyone see a problem with 15x8 offset 17 wheels ? Some tre nice banded wheels im looking at

I've got 15 x 7.5 et35 with a 20mm spacer and this is very close the the track rod and pretty flush with the wheel arch..

I know that 7x15" ET24 definitly hit the track rod end on mine.
