Jetting the Weber

It's about time I rejetted my weber for the E21 as it came out of a later E30. I'm planning on getting it on a rolling road at some point soon but I was wondering if anyone had any experience / recommended jet sizes etc?

Your car is a 1.8 M10, the e30 was a 1.8 M10. Basically same heads etc. No need to rejet anything.

I used the service kit a couple of weeks ago, but it could probably do with a good tuning. There's a really annoying flat spot and then spurt in second. :\

Hi Reck,
Have you tuning the carb to get correct performance/fuel economy?

Hi mate,
Not running the weber anymore but I ended up taking it to someone with a CO% meter as I needed to get it through the MOT emissions test. Was great though - more power and was getting about 30mpg around town and 35 on the motorway. There are some recommended jet sizes floating about somewhere though, let me see if I can find them.
May be worth getting in touch with Weber directly? They should be able to give you the specs you need.

Do you have any e-mail or web page to contact Weber supply ?

I used these guys in the past, but I am sure there is a weber agent in Uruguay.

It was fine on the E30 jets - that was an M10 anyway (although the combustion chamber is slightly larger iirc). I currently have this carb fitted with the same jets and it's all good!
