what is DCOE on carbs

Hi, all

Can any one tell me what is the TIPO number on a carb

is there a specific number that the e21 works best with or can i use any DCOE 40/45 carb?
Ive tried search the net on this but can't.

Either will work but afaik it's dependent on choke & jet sizes and these vary according to engine spec'.

I'm not sure what a tipo number is? I'm guessing that its to do with the body of the carb? If so, I would guess that they'd work so long as the chokes and jet sizes matched but ideally you want the same carbs.

Generally you try to use carbs with matching numbers Ie *****3 ******4 etc so they come the same batch. 40's would be best
