switch button colors

Hello,
I've seen many differences between the dashboard switch into E21 early models: GREEN, YELLOW, VOILET, RED, but i'm not sure what is the correct application, i know that the RED is for hazard lights.
VIOLET: Rear window defroster
however...
YELLOW/GREEN: Front or Rear fog lights?
In this pic, yellow is for the Rear Fog lights
But in this pic, yellow is for the Front fog lights
What is the correct?
