I'm after some help from those of you who run coilovers. I've not delved into experimenting with spring rates before and this is where I need your help guys.

I'm due to collect some coilovers next week but the springs they come with are way to harsh for road use, what spring rates would be suitable for road use?

Ta.

350 front & 250 rear. They're cheap enough to try a few combinations.

Lovely job, ta.

I thought they would be more expensive. I'll have to wait until I have the struts to see what length to order. They should be 2.25" springs???

The spring rate depends on what you want to do. From memory, I think the Eibach lowered springs are around 100 lb/in for the fronts, so anything there or above would be ok for the street. At the track, I've seen guys run up to 500 lb/in but that is pretty solid. I've got 250 front 200 rear and it works well on the track and road.

Cheers
