Cutting out

On the way back from the PPC photoshoot i came off the A12 to the junction of the M25 and as i pulled up at the lights my car stopped running.I pushed it over to the side and tried to start it.It turned over strongly but wouldn't start.After about ten minutes of this the car started.Round the M25 to the toll.Same again.And again at the next stop.This happened last summer on a drive out and the only thing these days have in common are that the weather was warm.It was fine on the way there but it was a cool morning.I have checked the fuse box and it seems ok.I do have a noisey fuel pump but that has been a bit whiney for months.
