Hi all,
Just wondering whether the centre chrome front grill was differnt on 323i compared with 316i. Do you think it the 323 grill will fit on the 316...1983 model.
Also, is it difficult to replace?
Does anyone have a centre front chrome grill for sale?
Cheers

As good as damaged to me as it has been sprayed black. I can either paint it again or re-chrome, but I am trying to get hold of a chrome one as it is a distinctive part of the car. Just waiting on someone to get back to me, may be getting one for a reasonable price

I was wondering how to remove the paint from the grill? I have a spare one which I have been experimenting on (as it was painted white). The one on the car is black, just wanted to get it to it's original chrome finish.
How much would it cost to get re-chromed?
Also, any ideas how to remove paint of the grill without scratching the surface?

Nitromors is supposed to be good for removing paint, not sure if it would harm the chrome behind the paint tho
