Buy K-jetronic fuel injection tester

Post by benke_berguv »

Hello there.
I´m thinking of buying this:

http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/Tool-Aid ... veQ5fTools

Is this the right tool for me?
I´d like to be able do service and repair to my injection myself instead of having to leave the car to the local repairshop who doesnt have a clue what to do with this type of injection anyway...

They say that's what you need to optimize a K-Jet indeed, but I have no experience with these units. Curious though, any experiences here?

That is the right unit. I just bought a similar one for 66USD from here:

http://garage.ideola.com/prod-Tools.html

They don't ship internationally so it was delivered to Australia via a forwarding company (http://www.shipito.com) and ended up costing around 120AUD.

I am currently trying to tune my fuel pressures, check this thread for my experiences:
