wrong section ...but i have to ask!

My sister has just been run into from behind while driving her e36 318is and apart from a couple of dings on the paint the only other damage to the car is that the engine has sprung a coolant leak from the back of the engine close to the bulkhead/firewall and i can't see where the water is comeing from . I am thinking perhaps heater hoses ....Any ideas ?? ....edd..
