Im looking for a cage, i was going to go custom, but a cheaper option looks to be going for a ready made one, then welding and modding it.
Omp seem to be popular, has anyone got one?
Any pics of cages in E21's would be awesome

Safety Devices also do an off the shelf cage for the e21.

Is that cage Safety Devices or OMP? Fit around the dash nicely.

It's much better in that respect than the Safety Devices one. Mind you, I prefer the SD rear section though. I like the internal battery box too. Is that OK when it comes to MOT time?
On a sidenote, having a tape sat there, now that's proper old skool!

took me bloody long enough!
spent about six hours scraping the shite white holusehold gloss off it, then sanding it back to bare metal cleaning bits up with the grinder etc. then sprayed it (about 2/3 coats) with some wickes straight to metal satin black.
it does fit really nice just in the gap between the dash and the door.

no, they dont mention my cracked windscreen either (you can see it in the pics)..... tbh the crack is near enough bang along the parking place of the wipers so isnt really testable.........
but the battery is secure.
the battery box i have is only possible by only running just the o/s tank with a welded plug where the cross pipe is.

and that tape player was free dont you know! my mate records me tapes foc, im rocking to my mates personal jimmy eat world best of atm. plus an 80's power ballads double tape off ebay.....
ive asked my mate to do a chris rea best of too.......... should be dropping it off tommorrow!
