Need a good quality pair of speakers that will fit with minimum of fuss into the exsisting holes and grilles ideally.
I will inly be running the 2, so something with good overall range and a nice rich sound.
Any recommendations please ?

becareful with your choice tho. some speakers have larger magnets on the back and wont fit. the backspace is limited.

I had the same problems with my fronts recently. Have some decent infinity at the back and some Alpines at the front. JBL are also good, but if you'd like me to find the specific model of Alpines I have let me know

I have 2 pairs of kicker 6x4 (I don't know what model are they, I bought them at 1995 anyway, and they are still PERFECT)
60w
BUT : whatever you fit in the small 6x4 oval holes, is not going to produce bass at all!
So by saying perfect, I have to explain that I just mean hig range and mid range...For bass you have to seek other ways, which have been vastly analysed in other threads on these forums...

I have JBL 6x4's in all 4 OE speaker holes and a boot mounted sub & amp. It might not win a Max Power sound-off but it's certainly good enough for me.

Thanks for the help Gents.
JBL will do the job I expect...though info on the Alpines would be appreciate.
