Engine sound Off

Hi All
I have to admit to a bit of cribbing here!

I am Secretary of the Classic Camaro Club (but also love old BMWs even if they don't have a V8) and we came up with this header!

the plan is to post up You Tube clips of your car in action/ firing up or whatever.

I have just returned to the IOM with my beloved E30 Hartge on trailer- which has been on blocks in a barn in Inverness for 5 years- and started first time! Well done BMW. (PS Camilla the camaro convertible won't start after just one winter in storage)
I know it is an E30 not an E21 (which I am looking out for) but you guys will hopefully let me off that one!
so Gentlemen START YOUR ENGINES!

If asked and permitted (etc) I might drop in the Race Camaro soundtrack- WDYT?

well guys here are the sound runs of my racing Camaro

they are very well produced by a Swedish Film crew who flew over to record the sounds for a forthcoming release! They placed 25 mics all over the car!
see:

They produce downloads for Mobiles as well

Butch is the name of my racing car and has a small block V8 that revs to 7800rpm (as you will hear!)

Here is my bmw with an m50 swap -

unfortunately theres no Hi def - 28 microphones stuck on my car by some guy who had to fly over lol. All i had was a spotty mate with a crappy nokia phone.

it sounds much better in real life.

lol now theres a challenge! gotta love the viaduct.

think it really depends on what your using to record the noise with and how good the speakers are your playing it through..

Yes! U can't feel / hear the bass. If u get those mounts done before Sunday, u get to hear it first hand. I can cross your palm with extra coin if you help me fit them at your work!
