gearbox conversion M10

Hi, E21 team
Can The Pro's out there please tell me if a propshaft for the 5 speed gearbox for the M20 engine fit on the 5 speed for the M10 ?
do, I need a shorter propshaft to change the Auto to manual, and if so has any ones got one they might part with?

The m10 5 speed box is still shorter then the m20 so they will not interchange.

Take your prop and have it shortened at somewhere like Reco-prop. They did the one on my 2002tii for about £120 iirc.

my m10 5 speed prop is in my shed at the side of the house . If you need me to measure it so that you know what size you need just say the word! ....edd..

Please go and measure this prop, Its vital I need the measurments, Even better, mr Edd sir, if its in the shed doing nNOthing, and you dont use, You can always pass it on to me! I'd be interested!! Pm me if so.
