Whats the best carb upgrade for reasonable money and gains, without going sill money for triple webbers etc?

Its for my 82' 320/6

haha i am aware of that, but its on a pallet waiting to be collected as i needed the moneys. this is for future reference, as i intend just to make the current engine run and sound a bit better, and just make it one hell of a cool daily. trying to swap my E34 for something a bit driftier, i got offered a tidy E30 1.8 and £150 cash, but then it would be back to square one with the engine situation all over again haha. need something with plenty power straight out the box as a swap.

Hi you need a 38 dgas which is easy getting the adapter plate could be tricky but I think webcon still sell them.

cheers jason, i'm not even sure if it has the original solex on it anymore, i'll post a pic 2moro so someone can identify it.

just take the air box off, the 320/6 sounds throaty as it is before i pulled mine to bits i couldn't get enough of it lol

yeah i got myself a brather filter so that i could leave the air box off

Maybe Weber KIT TEK248.
It replace Solex 4A1 carburetor, without taking off air cleaner.

yeah it seems it has a 38 dgas, as the air filter was fitted.
