Identify this carb

No idea what carb this is, is it the original? are the original not the other way round, i.e autochoke on the other side. does say webber on the autochoke, but not sure if thats a bit thats been added afterwards.

Any numbers anywhere? It does have a look of the Weber about it but can't be sure.

looks like a weber google for 38 dgas images, also the solex is a 4 barrel that is a 2 barrel

happy days, well its running rough as hell, and the butterfly valves dont open till over half throttle, and then don't actually open that far on full throttle, i take it i'll need to get it set up by someone that knows what they're doing.

It is a weber 38/38 DGAV.
Simultaneous open throttle, look at picture second picture, conection down the air cleaner, between medium hose.
Water choke looks like it came from Ford.
BMW´s are smaller.

haha its ok i understood most of it, it does seem like quite a big water choke doesnt it
