hi all, replaced the clock setting switch today but lost the 24hr clock when it reset. anybody remember how to get it back to 24hr?

i thought it was only a 24h clock?

on the digi clock subject....
i can set mine at the correct time (say 08:00 in the morning) just fine.
but then if i turn the ignition off and on again, it then says a totally different time. and not like 12:00 or 00:00 like youd expect if it had been reset.... just a totally random time like 22:42 or 10:37 but a different random time everytime i put the ignition on whether ive attempted to set it or not. reguardless of time the ignition is off too..... you can turn the ignition off for 10 seconds, turn it back on and the time will have changed in hours and minutes......
but whatever time the clock shows when you put the ignition on it keeps time.....
any ideas?

As far as the clocks being 24h all the time ...they can be switched between 24h and 12 h but I cant remember how...it should be in the owners hand book but mine is the wrong year.

Your clock sounds like its control board is shot. I have a spare one if ya want

it doesnt bother me particulally, not enuf to warrent me doing owt about it...... just wondered why lol!
