HOT START problem - and can't find the part

The Vacuum system on the 1982 E21 320i has been completely replaced, including accumulator..

My mechanic told me that BMW had a known problem with this hot start problem.. and issued an aftermarket kit for their dealers, known as
the Drivability kit.. It is part number 12 51 1 288 414 - and it is discontinued. I looked everywhere online for it - and cannot find it.
Even google comes up with nothing.

I tried Maximillion Imports, REALOEM, a site in Germany and a site in India.

My mechanic brought up a picture of it on his BMW parts CD... and reportedly - this is what he thinks is needed, but he cannot find it either.

I'd really appreciate it if anyone could tell me where to find this, or if you know anything about it.. I think it's some wires and relays.. or at least
that is how it looks.

Really appreciate any wisdom or help you can share..

You should test your K Jetronic injection system first. I had a lot of problems with it but now everything works fine with genuine BMW Parts. Hot start problems are common in cars with wrong system pressure. Take your car to someone who is familiar with K Jetronic.
