Hi
I'm brand new here, I mostly float around the VW scene, but i recently took a trip to the interior of BC, Canada and found an E21 at a scrap yard
I've been doing a bit of reading up on the different models of E21, but i'm still kind of at a loss about whether or not this thing was anything special
here's some photos

it also had a 3 spoke leather steering wheel (from what i've read, the one available on the IS edition?) and probably black leather recaros, although the seats were gone when i got to it
it also had a zender rear ducktail spoiler and a FOHA front air dam that i grabbed, hoping they would somehow fit my mk1 Jetta; they don't, just a little too wide :(

so is this thing anything special?
does that blue motor mean anything? the other early bimmer motors i've seen have been all silver
it was in pretty good shape save for a smushed passenger front fender. it had very little rust, if any
thanks for the help
cheers!

Welcome here, almost kicked you out as a suspected spammer for that username, glad I didn't since you appear no more a spammer than the rest here lol

Car is a late US 320i, perhaps 320iS, using the Euro spec 1.8 litre 4 cilinder engine. Engines are all the same on these models (see specs page on US cars) and from the factory they are all silver indeed. Perhaps this engine was at some point rebuilt but who know's what good is left from that now.

looks like a solid car, are they selling it as a whole?

thanks for the welcome
ok, fair enough, I don't know anything at all about these cars so I was hoping it was something a little special
you know, you're always looking for that 'diamond in the rough' ;)

it is a solid car, the yard was more or less domestic so you wouldn't think the parts would go too quickly. They'd probably sell it as a whole too
the car is in Oliver, BC, Canada if anyone is interested

i'll have the front and rear spoilers up for sale soon, as well as the steering wheel
none of them fit my Jetta so I have no use for them
I want to give them a good cleaning and a bit of a restore first though
