Engine Delivered - help identify parts?

Bought an engine & gearbox (attatched) and palleted, contacted paisley freight, they subcrontracted city link to courier it to me in Aberdeen.
The engine is sat in City Links Birmingham depot with a small oil leak. They have come back to me saying they cant transport anything with oil in it! Iv got until tomorrow to collect it or they will skip it!
Seller has no time/means of getting it back to his garage.
Is anyone local, can anyone help or remove from site?

id be calling in sick and then a quick dash to birmingham in a hire van tbh - id tell them that if they skip your engine there will be serious trouble.

Managed to get a local garage to agree to pick up and store. Im in the middle of arranging van hire now. Will keep you all updated!

tell the seller he either picks it back up and sorts the oil leakage out or he refunds you what youve paid! thats not on you drain all fluids on an engine/gearbox your posting.... even a retard knows thats that.

Maybe its my fault, i just never thought to ask. I have never bought an engine this way before!

not your fault at all mate the seller should sort it for you.
cant believe the oil was left in thats just mad.good luck sorting it out

My Mate K does a lot of car deliveries to/from scotland/englandshire.
I can PM his number and he should be able to get it as far as fife and store it

Cheers for replies. The garage in Birmingham are going to: drain the oil, cling-wrap, repallet and then i will get paisley freight to try again.

Glad it all worked out OK!
I am going north (to place in Inverness) in 2 weeks where I have plenty of storage if that helps?
we have the same problem getting things on and off the island!!

Thanks for the offer, sorted now though.
Engine was delivered today, i have removed: gearbox, inlet, and its nearly in the shed!

At somepoint, yeah.
Need to sort out welding, finish the rear disc conversion and then, i will pull the engine.
