KPH to MPH Speedo conversion help needed!

Dear Experts
It seems that Herman will never pass the Manx Test with a Kph speedo!

Has anyone converted/had experience in this?

I had a Doublecab pickup import from Japan once and we converted the KPH speedo to MPH- but of course this meant only using half the dial as 100kph then became 100mph!

Should I get a stick-on dial - would like to keep the Alpina writing on the speedo tho'!

any suggestions?

Since starting this I have sent emails to 3 suppliers- all of whom typically start with later Model BMWs off the shelf though!

If it's just for MOT try a digital one.

Just been up to the Test Centre with a bicycle MPH digital readout guage- which I bought for £14.99 from a Bicycle shop

They said it was OK to fit and would pass!

The boss said that they were keen to encourage Classic cars etc for classic car use- wonderful! Fully understood my predicament with Alpina Guages being so rare and expensive etc
