urgent need your imputs guys

My 320/6 has a breather hose connecting the engine via the cam over to the air filter box. This is suppose to vent oil gases as the pressure builds up in the engine.

Lately the vent is purging oil and I mean OIL into the air filter box. It took a 1/4 box of tissues to clean off the oil in the air box when I checked the last 2 times. There is no rubber valve that I can see that is causing this problem.....everything is metal under the the cam cover.

Anyone can advise why this is happening??????

Usually a symptom of old valve stem seals. You got a smoke exhaust gas when you put the power down?

Run hose from the cam cover vent into a catch tank rather than into the air filter.

Crankcase pressurizing and/or worn valve guides, oil stem seals etc.

Hi, oil pumped up through the breather hose is a symptom of crankcase compression. This is due to piston blow-by caused by excessive bore wear and/or piston ring wear.
