Do you think plain silver might work better, as there's so much black already, I've a black Baur:
Any other options out there for similar money?
I was also wondering about the size of tyre I should get, big enough to fill the arches, but still allowing plenty of clearance!
Thanks,
Enda.

they are a nice looking wheel but lenso's bsx have been known for laquar lifting on the lips.
i have a few sets of borbet a reps forsale brand new in boxes 15x8J et 15 3 inch dish. that i could do for the same price.
However, I thought again; and now figure I'm best off getting some BBS-looking rims, and keep the car looking as early 80s as possible. I didn't know that the Lenso's peeled, thanks for that.

Love these alloys, what are they called? Do they come in a 4 stud fitment suitable for E21?
So you want the 15 inch BBS alloys for the BMW E21. That would be the Mahle version with ET13 and then in 6,5 J or 7J. We have 7J on our 316 and it looks like this:

The best chance you have is with Ebay. UK or Germany. Prices are very different. I have the polished one and paid 250 euros for them about 3 years ago. Sometimes i see prices here like 500-650 euros.

IMO I would look at these Image wheels? Look good....................??
Thanks for that, I liked the one at the very bottom of the page, but at £230 per piece, I'll keep looking! I also don't like the way they brand the rim
