Car Cover Advice..

I'm after buying a new car cover after my halfords effort deteroirated and started to leave behind white dusty residue every time I put it on the car (made more frustrating by the fact that it seemed to be charged with static and wouldn't brush off the car but simply move to a different spot!!)

Anyway I'm trying to decide between a 5 layer breathable winter type cover for about £145, or a lightweight all year cover for about £75.00 (both are semi tailored to the cars size).

I'm leaning towards the more protective one but don't know if it's really worth the extra money? Also I'm unsure if the winter one can be put on a wet car or not (my current halfords one can as it allows water to escape)

http://www.theultimatefinish.co.uk/molt ... overs.aspx (£145)

http://www.classicadditions.com/lightwe ... 47_48.html (about £75)

Any thoughts....

This was what I brought 2 days ago for my car which parked outside, the outer layer was made in aluminium foil flim to reflect the sun light and for better water proof ability and the inner layer was made with polyester cloth to protect the paint, and the two cover you have choose was too expensive for that sort of quality and I assume they were made in China too, hope it helps :)
