Hi everyone, I'm new here. I just bought Ross's 316, and brought it back to Guernsey.

Great condition, and definitely worth every penny. It's had a lot of work completed that you guys probably know about, which is great as I plan to use it everyday.

Welcome Zak and glad to see the car has gone to an enthusiastic owner. Good choice of car too! I guess we're biased on here though.

So do you have any changes planned?

Nothing major planned, maybe lose the front fogs, and sort out some of the small areas of surface rust.

Hi Zac
Welcome
I write from another Crown Dependency!

Do you also have a 25 year classic car road tax policy (as we do here on IOM)?

The speed limit's 35mph, but doesn't mean you can't go over it :)

We don't have road tax over here, it's included in our fuel. Before it was included it was about 50ppl, now it's about 105ppl

sorry to keep on about the similarities -or not between the crown dependencies

But do you also have a once off Test that imports have to pass before getting your Guernsey Reg plate? Like a sort of SVA really stringent MOT?

(As we do here on IOM) and which is giving me grief at present!

Thanks Mark!

@TopCat, no we don't have any sort of test, not even a yearly MOT.
