Nice roars! But I wonder, how does it perform compared to say an E30 M3 on a hillclimb?

well it entirely depends upon the Hillclimb

At Prescott a proper set up M3 would demolish Butch! Too short a climb only 2 gear (just)- Butch is geared for 180 mph! It was just a show for the crowds - that is all!

However at Llergy Frissell in the Isle of Man the longest hillclimb in GB I think Butch would have the edge!

I am hoping to persuade E21 Mark to bring his 335 TWR to next year's Manx Classic - and I shall take Herman! That will be a showdown you guys will enjoy??
But I should admit this Hillclimb thing is not really my scene- only did Prescott as it was an American Themed event and they all want to see Butch out there!

In the meantime I now have the all important Rapid Motion TV coverage of our races in South Africa earlier this year
If I can get it on You Tube (legally) you guys will see what really happened and why we have got to go back.........................even if it is a Camaro not an E21!

BTW we have a lot of Dutch Guys bringing their racing cars down to RSA every Feb- I am sure your chums will know of them- do you want full details?

Agree, depends on the climb, agility will give BMW's the edge when there's more bends... would love to see an E21 showdown as well!

Curious about those Dutch guys, see if I know any of them!

I won't take much persuading if the cars ready and I say 'if'. I could always come in my track car if not.

Dear Mark
What age and engine cc is your track car please?

We don't want you being in a different class to "Herman" when you get out here!! If the TWR isn't ready.

The classes are on the website .....................
