A. I hear some whirring, (no more like bruu bruu sound)... noise on some speed, from 40-60km/h is the worst. It is not noise from motor ( gear box neutral) and not from front wheels bearings(changed). Also that noise is sometimes louder on curves.
1. rear wheels bearings?
2. Propeller shaft center bearing?
3. Something else?

B. Also i want to buy brake pressure regulator for 76' E21 316, (four connections). where i can find it . Not original because it is to expensive.

C. Fuel leaking and fuel smell when is tank full. Fuel tank roust on top?.. i can't see it.. Or hoses.?

Hi,

A. there are many posible causes I guess so some more info or location could be handy. Some options: noisy or old tyres, rear wheel bearings, propshaft bearing. Check the wheekl bearings by jacking up the car and giving the wheel a good spin, if the bearing is really bad you should hear it. You can give the propshaft bearing a lot of lubricant like WD40 and check if that makes a differenece, at least then you know if it's the cause. Easy checks.

C. fuel smell and leaks can be either a rusty tank (rusting at the seams connecting the lower and upper half) but it's even more likely to be the hoses. Under the rear seat you will find a metal cover, after removing that you can already replace most of the hoses. If it's been leaking, it is likely you can see traces of that, or just fill her up completely and have a closer look.

I was check back wheels by your method but I'm not sure, because the noise is on beginning, when i spin it seams ok.
It is seams that sound come from front. But that is relative.
I will check tank..
One more question, when I stopping car in small speeds sometimes i hear knock on front...

Thanks...
