anyone have a downloadable wiring diagram for a 323i ? 1980.

I'm having trouble with rear fog lights, just took off the rear light inner covers and found brake lights had been wired to fog bulb holders.

could do with a diagram, before i make it worse !!

tried all of them, just opens some big pdfs with nothing in them ?

Below link works perfectly to get you the full factory manual, but you're after the wiring layout within the rear light and that won't be in there, or in any other manual. But those few wires are no rocket science so with a multimeter you should be fine. No offense but if this goes over your head you better check with a friend who has some basic understanding of electrics.

I've figured out the wiring at the light units now, although with it being left hand drive, the fog light is on the left, so I've run a wire across to the right, so now we have twin fogs at the back.

I'm kinda stuck at the switch now though, it appears that where the fog light switch should be, there is a second headlamp switch, that has been used to run the fan override. I'm unsure of the wiring for the back of the foglight switch, and what the orignal fog light switch should look like, the fogs now work, but I could do with a wiring diagram to figure the warning lamp on the dash.

Sorted it. The printed circuit board on the back of the dash had an earth fault on the fog warning lamp
