track control arms

i need new lower front ball joints because the gaiters on mine are split.
so i have to replace the tca`s but i need to know if these will it or will i have to get the more expensive ones? :lol:

there are two types depending on build date, then they're different L/R and the horrible picture isn't clear but it looks like there are no bushes in there.

why not try a decent supplier? Schmiedmann, Eurocarparts, GSF, ... all the addresses are at the top of the FS section here

i was hoping they would be the same through out the build dates
mines an 83 316 so i was a bit unsure.
i have tried the places round here that supply parts but no where seems to have them,(didnt even have an oil filter)
so i decided ebay was a good option.

i looked on gsf and i cant find them on there and on schiedmann there 51.34 each.
i know you get what you pay for but thats way more than the ebay ones.

Put your chassis number in on real OEM and it'll throw up the correct part and number.

Are the joints worn or are just the covers split? If the joints are still good You could replace the rubber covers which is loads cheaper( last time i changed mine they cost £2 each from the local car shop)
