Orjan's 1980 323i
Posted: Thu May 04, 2006 2:39 pm
After a long time, I found a 323i - which after the description sounded ok. I have bought it off German Ebay
so hopefully I won't be too disappointed when it turns up home here in the middle of Norway...

It was of course Anders who found it on ebay and made me aware of the car http://www.bmwe21.net/forum/viewtopic.php?t=1640
The car has been standing in a garage - unused and unstarted - since 1998.
About the car:
Produced 05/1980
Henna red
Black interior
Sunroof
Pop out windows
2 owners before me
181000 km pr may 06
Mods:
15" BBS/Mahle wheels (on the car when I bought it)
Some kind of lower/stiffer suspension (dampers seems to be Bilstein)
Plans:
I'm gonna make it work again
It will probably not be a concourse winner, but it'll look da*n nice.
The work will probably involve disassembly of most of the car, fix rust in the floor and the sills, replace bushings, brakes, brake lines, exhaust sytem, fuel lines. The engine will get a "large" service (timing belt, water pump etc, and hoses and gaskets as needed.
It will be registered and on the road in june 2010
