e21 323i cutch

Hi Guys, I have a early 82 model e21 323i I have been trying to buy a clutch over the net,will a e30 m2025b fit or a 27b, it's a 228mm 10 spline that I know, but little else. Keep up the good work. BeeBee

Could be handy to post where you are located but our main sponsor Schmiedmann does ship worldwide and there are a few others as well, eurocarparts will prolly sell it as well

hi Beebee

the actual e30 clutch disk and cover plate will work fine. you DEFINATELY need the E21 clutch release bearing - dont bother trying to fit the e30 release bearing.

Benefit of fitting the 325 clutch is that it is rated to 350lbs/ft (iirc) however - you wont need it as the 323i only puts out 140hp (When it was new!) so therefore id suggest buying the complete kit for a 323i as it will work out cheaper. Shmeeeeeed man or www.mister-auto.co.uk can supply for a reasonable price.

forget euro car parts and german swedish french they are only interested in selling stuff for modern cars.
