Does anyone else suffer with SGCS? or Squeaking Gaz Coilover Syndrome.

Mine squeak from the rear and it drives me mental. :crazy It doesn't always happen but it does happen a lot and no amount of WD40 or Copperslip seems to cure it.

Does anyone else get it?

Can you single out what is it that's doing it? I can only think it's the top mount...

I think it's to do with the inner shaft (I'm not sure of the actual components name?) as it's neither of the mounts. We sleeved both ends with nylon and it's still like there's a budgie in the boot. The fact it's intermittent makes it doubly annoying and even harder to trace and believe me, we tried.

Is this squeek limited to golds? I've got the cheapest adjustable ghetto spec coilovers. Gha? I dont have squeeks but instead i get a rattle at low speeds on rough roads. it winds me right up. I think its the bottom mount side as the polybushes are too soft / ill fitting and all my other bushes have a much higher shore rating.. the top mount are near enough new and have no play.

I bought the fully adjustable top mounts at the front, and they rattle at low speeds too and do my head in. The steering is stupidly sensitive and light as well now.. I think my mistake is having the power rack. Going back to manual steering.
