If I replace some (or all) of the light bulbs inside the dash panel with more powerful ones, might that cause any problem?
I am about to replace one of the two VDO central clock bulbs. The factory bulbs are 1.2W. What if I fit a 2W one? And what if I replace both bulbs with 2W ones?

Hahah. You need an expert for this?!

no u don't!
So in your house. When you replace a 40w bulb with a 60 watt bulb what happens?
If they are too bright then turn the light switch to make them dimmer?

Well indeed, I may not need a so much expert for this...
However, at last I need someone who has done it, or know what the result might be....
For example:
As each function has only one bulb, (early model) centrally placed, I wonder if, fitting a more powerful bulb might result into a very bright midpoint and still not very bright edges, as before, but now with a bigger difference from bright to non bright, and this would look very ugly...
And another question...Might 2W be too hot for that place? (OK, I know that 2W power is for laughing, but then why did the car come from the factory with the smaller ones?)
I mean I am looking for ways to make my car's interior dash lights a bit brighter, but without making a very significant modification...
