Hi there.
I've got 1982 323i with original recaros, LSD, 5-speed sports gearbox, antrazit interior and so on. However, it's not two tone coloured but Graphite grey.
Does anyone know how to find out if this is a Edition S or not? And how many Edition S cars were actually built?
Thanks.

I have been told that some late 323i were specced up with LSD, dogleg box, Recaros etc and painted graphite before being sold by dealers as a 'sport' model. I remember going to see one at a car lot back in 1989/90 too.

IIRC Jeremy Walton did say that the 2 tone was ment for the UK market, while others were single tone..............mine came in opalgrun metallic....with was supposed to be one of the S editions.........not sure how to verify.......
