Dear All
We are confirmed for the racing this coming Diamond Jubilee Celebrations Races at Brands Hatch 3 and 4 June
UPDATE UPDATE!
Love to see you fellow E21 fiends- there are plenty of other races going on (Mainly AMs since it is AMOC ST John Horsfall meeting)
All kinds of excitements- my race suit is now out of date, ditto my Halon fire extinguisher, and gloves- this is getting expensive!
But what a GRID!
No less than 9 CAMAROS- the biggest collection of racing V8 thunder Heavy Metal in one place at one time on the planet!
And a "Le Mans" start
in full grid of 32 cars
Programme looks like Monday
Practice about 11.30 race at 17.00
Tuesday
Practice early
Lunch time Le Mans start parade at 12.15
We are top spot first race after lunch on Tuesday!
The cars are divided into M for Modified and F for FIA = less modified
We are in F class - no idea how well we will go- but you never know- especially if it rains where the hp deficit is less important! Some of the modifed cars allegedly have over 750 bhp!
