Vented discs - worth having?

I've just discovered the 2.0 auto has the same vented discs as the 323.

Since I'm robbing bits from an auto parts car before it's scrapped, should I get the callipers?

My Baur needs new discs & pads anyway so if the vented discs are worth having I would change to those.

I take it they are a straight bolt on fit.

Both discs and calipers bolt right on. A set of freshly rebuilt calipers and new discs will brake a whole lot better and the vented discs are better in dealing with heat so in extreme situations like with a fully loaded car going on holiday that may make the difference.
