ET Question on 15in Rims

Will 8 x 15s with an ET of 20 fit directly the rear on my car without any addtional work or spacers?

The fronts are 7 x 15 with an ET of 13 which i'm guessing are fine with standard tyres 185/50/15, although i may go for streached versions.

The rears definitely won't fit, will need about 15-20mm spacers at least.
The fronts I'm not sure about. I'm currently running 7J et 10, and they fit. Just. So those'd probably need a 3-5mm spacer as well.
Also, I have 185/50's as well and you'll be fine with those if you're not too low. Mine is quite lowered and I had to roll the arches.

hmmm, the guy at the alloy wheel shop seemed to think the 7s would fit ok but now i'm not so sure. I thought that the 8s may need some addtional spacers to fit correctly though, any advice on a particular brand?

The car isnt lowered at present but i am going to drop it approx 40-50mm and have some bodywork done so could get the arches rolled should this be necessary.

The rear will be close, might rub the outer arch the eT is more critical on the front,

Why yes ofcourse. Won't effect inner clearance though, which might be the problem up front.
In the front the problem could be hitting the tie rod, in the back just the trailing arm.
I know for a fact that an 8J et0 fits exactly on the front (inner-clearance wise), you could calculate it from that.

Cheers Bartgouda, i'm going to the local fitting centre when i return from my Hols to try a few different variants, well that is when the head gasket is reattached as i had low compression on no 2 Cylinder caused by the timing not being set up correctly. Head looks as good as new now though after a clean up! :D
