Hi everyone,
Unfortunately my fuel warning light doesn't work. I found this out by breaking down on the motorway. Anyone know how I can fix it. Is it likely to just be the bulb or is there a more common problem. Thanks again everyone.

tough cookie, check the wiring from the dash, on the left side under the carpet and under the backseats, mine was broken too, found a foulty fried wire just where the cables come down from the dash to the side. What about the gauge? working or also not?

Still, could be just the bulb. The easiest check imho.

Thanks guys, ill check that out. Guage still works fine so fingers crossed it's the bulb or dodgy connections. Thanks again.

Always worth keeping a petrol can in the boot too!

Well, is there any way to know it doesn't work, other than running out of fuel?????
(as in general, I never leave the car out of fuel, I fill it up when it reaches half tank...)

I checked mine, IT WORKS, thank God!!!!
I left the fuel gauge to the red for rather long, and, afraid that the lamp was not working and I might run out of fuel, I decided to go to the petrol station and, from next week, start looking into the not working fuel warning light issue...I strted the car, and after a while the light turned on

...It was time for filling her up anyway...
