Our fellow BMW enthusiast Imre from Hungary has spent loads of time gathering information, pictures, specs and stories on Alpina's history and now the book is out! Exclusive, limited 1st edition of 750 pieces. Softcover, 144 pages, preface by Ellen Lohr. The hard thing will be to read it as it's written in Hungarian, an english version is not planned for the very near future but I will keep pushing Imre for that!
The book can be obtained by sending an e-mail to
klassikpress@gmail.com . Price is EUR 24,50 including shipping if inside Europe.
I supplied a few photos to Imre and as a thanks he gave me this copy, numbered Nr 323! Thanks Imre!

Hi Everybody, Dear Jeroen,
I would like to say thank you for your help and pics (Jeroen) again, they were perfect (but what do you say my pic from the B6 2.8 e21 which I made in Lelystad in 2009

9!
If Alpina can accept my proposal (because I work with Alpina GmbH, with Angelika together) and ideas we make an English/German Edition, but first I'd like to finish the second Hungarian edition (from 1990 to 2013)
I wish you all the best from Hungary!
Imre

You're welcome!
We should have met back in 2009 then! Anyway, lots of nice Dutch cars in the book, that makes some people smile here!
Keeping fingers crossed for a translation and looking forward to the 1990-on version!

we did not want to delete the number plates of that Alpinas, so you can see which is Dutch and which is German (and there is a car from the US, the C1 2.3/1, but its number plate is not from the US)
