just been on a shoot in England this weekend with one of my best friends- (only mention what we were doing since Lars seems to like shooting as well)
bumped into one of my old chums whom I haven't seen for a long time
Turns out that he too likes old Alpinas and bought this race CSL Jagermiester Beer original some 4 years ago- it was originally raced by John Fitzpatrick and came with a box full of race history
Anyway you can expect it out soon- it has been lovingly rebuilt in past 4 years and looks set to reappear this Spring- possibly first run out at Goodwood Hill in June
enjoy!:

I just have to take a tour to Isle of Man next year. And then we go fishing in scotland and test some whisky that they make over there. Nice car.

Then I just have to come to visit you next summer, and make a plan for some deerhunting and fishing in scotland. Maybe I dont come with a E21, but I have a nice 328 that fits good with tweed and a sixpence

And if there are some bird to shot at I will bring a AYA S/S shotgun from 1946 in good condition and a old S/S ARYETTA also.
For the deer I take the Blaser/ Ulrich takedown R93 lux with upgraderd stock in caliber 270 win, with a Zeiss 3-12x56 Ht and a silencer. For fishing I just take a rod or some dynamite

I can bring a 243 also, and a 30-06, 8x57, 9.3x62, 45 Blaser, 300 Rum. The 5 last here I also can make total silent.

The 300 Rum still has 1000mps and only the sound from the bullet. The other has to be loaded for subsonic speed.
If the darkness is a problem;-) We can fix that also.

LOL yeah Lars has a great fix for darkness even helps tracking down couples that are very much in love in the forest
Turning out into a slightly modified topic, perhaps it's time for a separate hunting thread here, with lots of photos!
Was thinking it might be nice to come along on a Scotland or IOM trip but I'm not sure if I want to spend a few nights in the forest with men carrying guns with silencers

Love it- depends what you were intending to do whilst you were in the forest!!
Yes I think we should have a shooting/hunting separate thread here- and yes Lars the Jadgschein (pse excuse my German) is a German hunting licence. I only have 15 shotguns 4 rifles and a Lugar pistol- so this arsenal does not measure up to Lars'!
