German Speakers?

I wish I'd paid more attention at school now!

Anyway, I know I could use free translation, except I'm worried about stuff getting 'lost in translation'

I'm enquiring about a car,

Would someone mind translating the below into a german response?

Hello, I am interested in this E3. Does the car have any corrosion or rot? Could you send me pictures of the underside, doors, arches and any areas that have any corrosion? Would the car drive back to England? Dpes it have power steering as mentioned in the advert?

Thanks in advance!

Off course :)

Hallo, ich bin interessiert in Ihre e3. Ich möchte gern einige Sachen fragen;
- Gibt es Rost am Fahrzeug (I can tell you...there ins't any e3 which doesn't rot...:))

You should hear him shout, you'd say he was a native lol

And initially I thought you were after some German loudspeakers like Canton, Dynacord, Magnat or Quadral

Ha ha! I have a lovely pair of Quad's! German chap has answered back. I put it throughout free translation. Doesn't seem very helpful. Just says give me 1,000 EUR and I can fix everything! How do I go back and say - "thanks, that's really sweet, however would you mind sending me photos of the boot, floor, inner, outer arches and sills? (don't worry about saying the really sweet part!)

reply below:

Hi.Bei dem auto gibt rost .Aber wenn du kannst mir 1000 euro mehr zahlen das ich kann alles reparieren

lol well if he doesn't come up with a decent set of photos then leave it anyway. Berlin doesn't have the best name for car trade anyway.

BTW you got some ESL's then? Something 323baur and me enjoy just as much!

Yes Berlin guy seems a bit suspect at the moment!

Unfortunately not, just some lowly Quad 11L's. I will build up my hifi once I'm happy with a home being a home :)

Gotta start somewhere and that is nice stuff. On some good stands and with a decent amp these aren't bad at all!

Get yourself a car not too far from here and we'll have enough to discuss, over food and beer of course!

Hahaha, nice topic..
I'd like the Enlisch style.
I had in my youth a nice set off Cambridge pre and end set up.
Now I'm playing with a decent set of Rotel - yes Englisch too.

A nice e3 for normal money isn't available anymore these days. Specially NOT in German!
That 'fishpool' is already empty for years!!

You'd better search in France: www.leboncoin.fr. More and cheaper, less rusty, cars!!!
Note: if you don't speak French, you won't have any reply.
The people over there think that there's no other language...

323baur, you are now on my official consultation list for buying an E3! I'll take your experience into mind and not pursue Germany as the best place to find a car I want. France, especially the south may be better - French speakers I know :). I've come across that website before, just need to figure out how to get the best of it. I'll keep you guys posted, thanks again.
