Recaro clamp?

Hi,
Been ordering a couple of handles (4) on the diagram for my recaro's. The clamp (3) however is no longer available. Does anyone know where these can be found? Or can the handles be attached without these?
Thanks

Try ebay or direct from recaro

I've looked on ebay, it's such a small part I don't even know if anybody would sell it. Capital seating provide a number of spares, but not this one sadly.

Don't just look at BMW E21 Recaro parts, the part must have been on Opel and Ford Recaro's in the same era. Maybe try those dealers?
This bloke is parting out his Capri and also parts of a
Recaro seat. Try asking him?

You make a good point, I could be a little more ingenious in my search. Did put in the part number and found some suppliers in the U.S. except they wan $85 to deliver

Hey thanks, do you know what Audi model I can refer to to get them? Quattro coupe from the eighties perhaps?

There is one on the top of my microwave at the moment off a scrap vauxhall recaro that my cat sleeps on(cat won't miss it)...looks identical to a pair i bought from the ford dealers more than a couple of years ago !I cannot imagine that the clips fitted to more recent recaros would be any different.I should be able to find a second clip if you need to use second hand clips as i have loads of scrap recaro seats/parts....I think the clips cost something like 12p each from the ford dealers years ago...edd

Hi Edd, yes the clips are 20p each, but its finding the little buggers! If you could that would be a great help. Happy to compensate you and your cat - can I pm you my address and you a paypal fee?
thanks

Wow.. Just for future reference, I believe there are a number of forwarding companies set up in the states now. You have your item delivered to their US address, and they forward it on to you for a modest fee. I'll post it up if I can remember the bloody name.

Thanks Reck, that would be useful. I think they're seriously trying it on with that postage cost though. I have an aunty in Chicago I usually use to post to locally. Then if I'm there myself or if any relies are coming over they usually bring the stuff with them!
