Peoples,

Well I just sold the light green 323i. A matter of being short on time to do what this car needed and deserved, a full restore.

Wasn't planning buying anything but I got this more or less thrown in my lap... early '76 320/4 4 cil carb manual. 176.000 kms but fully documented starting at the hand written purchase order from Oct. '75 and ending with it's latest MOT at the same dealer. One owner and original Dutch car.

Some minor points of attention regarding the chassis, some parts were resprayed through the dealer a few years ago (also documented). This leads to some slight differences in color and shine but I guess a good polishing job might fix that. The car now needs a new APK/MOT including 4 new tyres. There's a lot of Waxoil stuff in the engine bay but underneath it looks mint. The interior is like new, no cracks in the dash and the leatherette seats are good, even the drivers' seat. And the original radio (including invoice and manual) is also still there.

Things I like less on the car: the insides of the rear fenders were welded by the dealer and he hasn't done the cleanest job (you can see that in the trunk) but I'm not sure if I want to have more work done on this right away. And the rear spoiler, well that's a matter of taste huh?

Oke, and what about the other set you have? It doesn't matter to me if its with or without ears.

Haha well I have two sets. The grey set I bought at the Wagenborgen meet destined for the dark green 323i, and a black cloth set with ears for the Korona yellow 323i.

Still haven't figured out where that other set went... hoping for miracles to happen!

Well Jeroen

Finally You have an e21 to drive to the meets with ... or are you going to take it apart also and then leave it in your garage

Nice find and hope to see it in Lelystad

Congratulations with this nice car...... guess I cannot escape anymore from my curiousity and have to visit you soon to have a first glimpse of a future MINTER

God, how I would love to own a 320/4 with automatic 8)

Have you taken her for a real testdrive, yet?

BTW: this 320 sits on 5J steel rims..... an easy udate is to fit it with 5.5J from the later 320/6 or 323i..... as already said earlier I don't know if I would fit it with 13"multispoke BMW-wheels....

Guess I must find an picture of 13"Alloy as fitted on the earliest E21 3-series as this one is.

I'll try and find a pic and put it up here, o.k......? That will fit nicely.... believe me.

[edit:] And here it is:

That's where the "Brove"- assembly parts for the rear headrests fall in place....
