I have two nice BMWs allready and had a plan for not get one more, if I dident find a special one.
Last day I was away to pick up those Hartge spoilers I got last week. When I was down in the basment to get the spoilers, it was not only the spoilers that was there for sale.
They had a lot of BMW and Hartge stuff there.

And when she said that she also had a E21 Hartge I was a little suprised. But she tok me up to an other room there and there it was.

A E21 Hartge BMW 335 1982 with 61000 km. This one has 265 HP. As far as I know 1 out of 12 that was made.
Sold new to Saudi Arabia and imported to Sweden after 7 year. In 89. And stayed in the garage for the most of the time.

Yeah a wonderful find! I read on some forum only 12 were made as well but that would really be a low number. You could check with Hartge but its the same as with Alpina, quite a few cars were converted afterwards (could be the next week, but not ordered as Hartge), by Hartge and by their Importers/Dealerships.

Still a very rare car, more rare than the B6, faster than the B6, and this one looks like its in excellent condition as well. Try to get hold of it1

Nice one lars. Hope you can buy it. If that is the case then i would'nt have a problem if you would keep the frontspoiler.

The only thing i see thats a bit strange is the speedo unit. Thats an e30 design and i think non original.

You have to change the wheels to bbs mahle in 15". Hartge did not use the hartge wheel on the pics on the e21.

I'll keep watching this.

If you need some parts info i have alot of detail with nrs here.

Just ask :thumbsup

Thanks Gerrit. I get some answers next week and keep you all updated. And for the spoiler... I did think of that yesterday. I know you understand that I might need it my self if I get this car.;-)

I did some thinking when she said that she had a E21 Hartge there. And when I opened the hood and find a 3.5 there...... How many have seen those cars? I cant even find photos of then on google.

This is an amazing find- well done you- does the exercise bike come with it?

Couldn't have been found by a more appreciating potential owner

BTW are there any Hartge chassis or code numbers to prove what it is?

Hartge did stamp VIN nr's in their cars but not in e21's. They started doing that from the e30 onwards ...

They did stamp the type nr in the H3s .. You can see that on one of the pics 'HARTGE BMW 335' stampt in the bodyshell.

As for other parts .. every part of the exaust system has a specific number, so does the suspension etc.
