i have had the car around 6 months ,just fitted a new 6 branch and stainless exhaust system, replaced all the bushes motorsport ones from W&N (in germany) new bilstien shocks, new springs allround, interior is E30 front sport seats and original E21 rear ,retrimmed in black leather and running on 16" Alpina E30 alloys, (centres were missing so opted to paint the centres black which look more period for the 21!)
use the car as my every day runner and love it, i will be removing the front bumper/spoiler soon to replace with chrome a one and Alpina spoiler i have,(so if you are looking for one same as currently fitted let me know).
i also have a 1973 E9 CSL (in one of the pictures, as my other pride and joy..)
thanks for looking..

Looks very cool and clean. I like the subtle striping

(or am I seeing things that aren't there?)
Is it lowered or have you used standard springs?

very VERY nice Neil! I believe I even saw it yesterday as well (turning down to the Parkway off Prince of Wales roundabout about 4.45PM). Good to see another E21 in Sheff, can't remember the last time I saw one let alone a great example like yours. There's quite a following in these parts. I know guys in Doncaster & Chesterfield, they all love'em.
Like J said, pics of the E9 as well. Geez, you are one lucky guy!

Awesome!!!
God, I love E21's in black!! Absolutely stunning example you've got there mate!! The Motorsport frontspoiler is great and the gold pinstripes are just perfect on the black car - makes me think of the JPS edition...
How big a job was it fitting those E30 bucketseats??
Uhmmm... and where are those pics of the E9??

No objections, only encouragement!!!
Black really does suite the e21, and your's is a particularly nice example, IMHO!!! Damn, it looks good!
And the CSL... No comments, except that I now have to wipe app. 2 gallons of drool of my desk and keyboard
Well, ok, just one comment: The E9 is probably the most beautiful car BMW has ever produced.
Take good care of your jewels!

My you're a dark horse Quarry,
Not one, but two gorgeous Beamers! I'm from Manchester, but I used to go to a gym on Prince of Wales Road, next to the Burger King. Anyway love what you've done with the car and hope to spot it next time I'm in Sheffield.

Quarry, would it be possible to get some shots of the seat install? Just a shot of the rails would do, I'm trying the same feat so it'd be appreciated.
Thanks.
