ok i have a baur.
Was talking with a mate the other day and was talking about the stance of the baur.

We were both saying dont like they way the back Sits higher than the front.
Both cars have been lowerd equally.
Can anyone suggest what is best way to fix this

Coupla bags of sand in the boot will do it. Then see how it look?

better that way round rather than the 2002 which as standARd sits higher at the front- that really looks awful IMO

Funny. The stance of my Baur is not representative as I have Alpina B6 springs so the car sits relatively high at the front (spings made for the B6's M30 weight while I 'only' have the M20 engine), but I don't remember this being an issue for the Dutch Baurs I know. Most of them use Apex or H&R springs that lover the same front and rear meaning the front will always be slightly higher. Different springs perhaps? Some offer springs that fit bit the 4 and 6 cil models meaning they have to compromise for engine weights, and I can also imagine this may be the case with 60/40 kits, but with most kits this shouldn't be the case.

I think the majority of e21 have a slightly nose down stance (I kinda like it myself) and I know the way the swage line kicks up at the rear accentuates it. Best think would be to park on a flat patch and measure from the sill bottom to the floor. If there is a difference you could always fit spring clamps to see if it can be adjusted out and finally get custom springs made to match their free length.

If allowed, fitting spring clamps or cutting springs is not allowed here. But I've seen worse, people using a bunch of tie wraps

I wouldn't drive a car with them but could be used for checking length of springs needed for adjusting ride height.
