Sadly decent rubber is expensive these days. Dunno what your local dealership charges but its worth a check. The quality of WN's rubberwork isn't always up to spec (dunno about their window seals though) so if the price difference is small I'd go for the dealer.

Checked with BMW. No stocks of the E3 seals whatsoever but they're not giving up, working on a new supplier so by the time you need one, they may have a solution.

BMW want £95+vat for the front and £85+vat for the rear and £65+vat for the sunroof (give or take a few quid). I asked "do they come with lube" - the guy on the parts desk didnt understand my joke.

Hey thanks J, I didn't know BMW would think about revatalizing parts. I would rather buy new than NOS. Hopefully they will be available in about 6 months. Nas, stop being a tight yorkshireman and buy some already! You won't need to change them for at least another 30 years

linwar have some for £40 each thats a lot better than paying £255 - i bet there cant be THAT much difference in the seals.

Well 255€, about 205-210? You're spending thousands on a paint job and a couple of hundred isn't a big thing. I personally wouldn't take a chance with old rubbers, no matter how good they looked.

point taken. but that 40 was for new unused rubbers. i maybe crazy but i ain't no fool to be using secondhand rubbers LOL
